Professional Standards & Code of Conduct

At Vitality Health & Counselling, we are committed to providing ethical, professional, client-centred care.

Our naturopath is a member of the Australian Traditional-Medicine Society (ATMS), we adhere to the professional standards, ethical principles, and practice requirements established by the ATMS Code of Conduct.

Our counsellor is a member of the Australian Counselling Association.

These standards include commitments to:

• Acting in the best interests of clients at all times
• Respecting client autonomy, dignity, privacy, and confidentiality
• Maintaining professional boundaries and ethical conduct
• Working within professional qualifications, training, and scope of practice
• Providing informed consent and supporting informed decision-making
• Maintaining accurate and secure client records
• Undertaking ongoing professional development and education
• Providing culturally sensitive and respectful care
• Referring clients to other healthcare professionals when appropriate
• Complying with all relevant Australian laws, regulations, and professional requirements
